500 years ago on 23 August 1521, Jakob Fugger founded the Fuggerei in "exemplum", as a model of generosity. People and institutions all over the world can subscribe to this idea of endowment. Everyone can become a benefactor: on a small scale, for example, by paying an entrance fee to the Fuggerei, on a large scale by making endowments and donations. We thank you for your generous support, with whose help we can do even more good in the Fuggerei.
Your donation almost exclusively benefits the projects we support. This is because our administrative costs are less than ten percent. The use of all funds can be fully traced and offers you absolute transparency. Our annual reports are checked by auditors and the foundation supervisory authority.
If there is an issue that is particularly close to your heart, simply indicate this when you make your donation. We will then use your donation exclusively for this purpose. If you do not want to commit, we will decide where your help is most urgently needed.
